Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) Program that provides Personal Home Care Services to Seniors and People with disabilities — at no cost to them. Unlike traditional Home Care, CDS puts YOU in control. You choose your own Caregiver, set your own schedule, and manage your care your way.

Do You Qualify for CDS?
You may be eligible for Missouri's Consumer Directed Services if you meet these basic requirements. Eligibility is determined by the State of Missouri — we guide you through every step of the process and monitor your application status with the State at no cost to you.

Get Assessed
A Specialist from the State of Missouri visits your home to determine if you're eligible and determines how many care hours you qualify for.

Choose Your Caregiver
You pick someone you already trust — a Son, Daughter, Friend or other Relative. You setup your own schedule with your Caregiver.

They Get Paid.
You receive quality care at home from someone you love. Your Caregiver receives weekly pay deposited directly into their bank account.

CAREGIVERS
Who Can Be a Paid Caregiver?
One of the biggest advantages of CDS is that you choose your own Caregiver. You can hire someone you already know and trust — someone who truly understands your needs.
Adult Children (18+)
Your Son or Daughter can be your Caregiver and earn weekly pay caring for you.
Close Friends
A trusted friend who knows you and your needs can also be your paid Caregiver.
Relatives
Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Siblings — family you already trust with your care.
Spouse or Legal Guardian
Per Missouri State Rules, Spouses and Legal Guardians are not eligible to be a paid Caregiver.
