Did you know you can have both Medicare and Medicaid? Having both Medicare and Medicaid usually means you don’t have any out-of-pocket healthcare costs. Medicare pays first and Medicaid pays last. If its not covered by Medicare, Medicaid may cover the cost. Get both if you eligible!!!
CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES
Consumer Directed Services is a Medicaid Program that offers home personal care assistance with daily living activities to Seniors and Persons with disabilities (Participants) at no charge.
Daily Living Activities includes:

Bathing

Grooming
-
Toiletry
-
Mobility
-
Medication management
-
Light housecleaning
-
Laundry
-
Meal preparation
-
Shopping for essential items
Participants can hire, train and manage a Caregiver of their choice. Family members, except a Spouse and Legal Guardian, can be hired to provide home care.
To apply to the CDS Program contact us. We will assist you with submitting an enrollment form to the Division of Senior Services (DSS). DSS will call the Participant for a phone screening. If the screening demonstrates the need for home care, DSS will enroll the Participant in the Program.
